Mission
The mission of the Academy of International Dance is to provide a multicultural experience and education through
the performing arts. Our motto is “Broaden Your Horizon with Dance”.
The Academy of International Dance's is dedicated to teaching its students to embracing the similarities and differences between the students and members of the local and global community. The children of the academy are provided motivating dance curriculums, performance opportunities, literacy and tutoring, and health/nutrition classes that will help better their chances of success.
This intensive curriculum provides youth and their families with positive afterschool activities that are not easily accessible to them. While there are many afterschool programs in the city, Santa Ana's large youth population simply surpasses what any one organization can offer.
In the inner city of Santa Ana, students live in crowded apartment buildings, with little or no open space. Furthermore, each household is densely populated with family members who share living space. The Academy has taken on this endeavor in order to improve the lives of the youths in the city of Santa Ana.
